[Monitor] SKT's 5G fastest: ministry

The Ministry of Science and ICT of South Korea on Wednesday reported its assessment of 5G networks provided by the nation's three largest mobile carriers.

 

과학부와 대한민국의 ICT는 수요일에 3대 이동 통신사의 5G 네트워크의 접근성을 보고했다.

 

According to the assessment conducted in Seoul and six other major cities in Korea, the average upload and download speeds of 5G networks reached 64.16 megabits per second and 656.56 Mbps, respectively.

 

서울과 한국의 6개 주요 도시에서 접근성 평가에 따르면, 평균적인 5G 업로드, 다운로드 속도와 Mbps는 각각 64.16 메가바이트와 656.56Mbps에 도달했다.

SK Telecom's 5G network boasted the fatest speed among telecommunications firms, while that of LG U+ was listed as the top in terms of network coverage.

 

LG U+가 가장 광범위하게 커버를 하는 동안, SK 텔레콤의 5G 네트워크는 통신사들중 가장 빠른 속도를 선보였다.

The latest assessment of 5G networks here was conducted to accelerate competition among networks providers and to provide accurate information to customers, the ministry said. The government plans to conduct another assessment on the network starting this month, the ministry added.

 

가장 최근의 5G 개통은 통신사들에게 경쟁을 가속화하고 소비자들에게 정확한 정보를 제공한다고 정부가 말했다. 정부는 이번 달 부터 또 다른 평가 시행을 계획하고 있다고 덧 붙였다.
